Dynamic Plumage of Swedish Flowers!

Sunday, 26 November 2017

Here are two Swedish Flowers hatched in late June 2017 that have been growing out.  We have taken photos at various stages of development. It is awesome to see how different they look now after the similarity at 4 weeks. They have turned out to be breeder quality roos with no common flaws (i.e., crooked toe, sprig, or split wing), and have heavy flowering and beautiful bright yellow legs to boot! The Sno Leapord Roo will be staying on the farm to pass along his great genetics in our flock, and if we had room we'd keep the Mille Fleur as well, but he now resides with his own flock in Ashland, VA.

Check out the photo collages showing the various plumage patterns at varying ages for each Roo! Enjoy
